Cherryswitch Mount for internal use
thingiverse
I am using cherry-switches often for buttons that are hidden inside an enclosure and are engaged by anything made from plastic/metal/wood pressed against it. For that, I think a cherry-switch is a good solution, mounted in such a way that it can be pressed with a lot of force without destroying it - hence the big walls around it. no keycap needed, just something that presses against it. I use this enclosure to screw the button onto a plastic box, which naturally allows for some wiggle-room anyway, and then have another piece of material that can be pressed against it. Nice for hidden mechanisms inside a large enclosure.
