The protective side plate is designed to safeguard all of your quad's primary components while also accommodating reversed propellers. This innovative design offers almost complete protection from rain and dirt and can be quickly and easily attached to the frame using just two bolts. The full side plate is engineered to wrap snugly under the 4-in-1 ESC, providing additional coverage. In contrast, the standard side plate serves primarily as a protective wall. I strongly advise using the full side plate for optimal protection. EDIT 1: The new slim version boasts the same functionality as the full version but with a lower profile design. This variant's suitability depends on your quad's build and component configuration. If your 4-in-1 ESC protrudes beyond standard dimensions, this slim version might not be the best choice. In such cases, I recommend opting for the traditional Full side plate. EDIT 2: The aerodynamic side plate retains the same level of coverage as its full predecessor but features a more subtle edge from the top plate down to enhance airflow and handling. To achieve a smoother print, orient this version with the top surface facing up and use supports to ensure a better curve on the outside.
