Cherry MX stabilizer base
thingiverse
So I wanted to try out building my own Sick68 mechanical keyboard ([thing:3478494](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3478494)), but I couldn't find a supplier for keyboard stabilizers in my country, so I decided to design my own. I found the keycap insert file ([thing:2692868](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2692868)), so I just needed the base. I decided to make it flat as well for printing ease. For the stabilizer bar I used 18 gauge galvanized steel wire bent to shape. It took me a couple tries, but I got great results in the end. Greasing well all joints was critical for good performance. Flat keycap insert model (from natalietrinh102) included for convenience.
