My colleague requested a customized vertical 2U keycap design. I duplicated the existing keycap and increased its height, adjusting the pillars to be evenly centered before printing at 0.2mm resolution. The result was impressive, but my colleague pointed out that it came up slightly short for his decade-old keys, being about 10% too small. To address this issue, I scaled up the design by an additional 10%, resulting in a new size of 38mmx19mm. For individuals who have recently acquired new keys, the original "2U Keycap ML.stl" file should suffice. However, if you're working with older keys that measure 19mmx19mm, it's recommended to use the alternative file, "2U Keycap ML (Original 38x19).stl," for a more precise fit.
