THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS!! I'VE NOT PRINTED THE FILES YET. Print the fins with support, of course. The nose cone base is designed to use an eye bolt. Epoxy the nut to the INSIDE of this piece and run the eye bolt through the bottom. That way you can add washers for weight as needed. And you WILL need them, especially running an E motor. I had to add like 5 fender washers to get it to swing stable. The 24mm adapter print as is (rotate it 90 degrees, if necessary, to print it flat). This part is UNMODIFIED from ellipiticaloptician's original design. The fin can is sized for an E motor. You can use an adapter from here (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3080175) to use a D motor, should you choose, or that adapter and one of the parts from here (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3071923) to use Aerotech motors (which go up to F in this size). Before you ask, no, I don't think the Cessaroni motor casings will fit. There's a stop at the top of the tube for the Estes E motors. These fit the standard Estes BT-55 body tubes. If you want it to match for scale, you'll have to cut the tube down by they exposed height of the fin can (100 mm) assuming you're using a full BT-55 body tube. You'll have to scale the decals to fit. I scaled mine to 46% to get them to fit (as measured by the body tube wrap). You may want to start there and adjust as needed. 3D printed parts are heavier than the original parts, so this won't fly as high as it's Estes counterpart on a D...maybe. The fins are thinner, so it may fly just as high. Should go higher on an E though. If you put an Aerotech F in the thing, let me know how that goes, and if you get your rocket back. EDIT 6/24/2019: Fixed the fins by moving them in a little against the motor can. When I printed them there was a slight edge where they met which, I believe, is an artifact of how Tinkercad joins things sometimes. By moving them in I hope to eliminate this. The fin can I printed is still usable to me, but I'll fillet the fins with Epoxy to be safe. EDIT 6/25/2019: Added the original decal sheet with the "Estes" logo intact, in case you're a purist. Estes doesn't actually make this rocket any more, but Semroc does, so the semi purists may want a Semroc decal sheet. Order those from Semroc, I won't copy them here. EDIT 6/26/2019: Modified a copy of the Ramjet 2X nosecone to be 125% taller and rounded the tip so that you don't have to. Now there is a dedicated Cherokee-E nosecone!
