It consists of the heart, arteries, veins, and capillaries, which work together to pump blood and maintain a stable blood pressure. The digestive system plays a vital role in breaking down food into essential nutrients that can be absorbed by the body. This process begins with ingestion, where food enters the mouth and is chewed by teeth before being swallowed and passed through the esophagus into the stomach for digestion.
