Chemistry Ion Dice (Chemical, Ion Cubes)

Chemistry Ion Dice (Chemical, Ion Cubes)

prusaprinters

These are the nine ion dice (30mm cubes) that I've used for my "Ion Dice" game for learning inorganic nomenclature. The white-page activity can be found for FREE at my Teachers Pay Teacher's page linked below. The first six are for learning basic binary compounds and the seven common polyatomic ions. Dice 7-9 are designed for students in upper-level or AP chemistry.

I've included the Fusion360 files as well as two STLs for each die. I've rar-ed them for easy download. Please feel free to resize or edit them to suite your need, but please give me credit if you upload based on my work.

I hope you enjoy them. Do realize they take about 2 hours each to print on my Ender 3, and a class set of 10 takes about 200 grams and 20 hours as 30mm cubes. (I will try to add pics when I use these in class in (2019) replacing wood blocks with sharpie) ;)

https://www.youtube.com/c/ChristopherBiresBoulderCityHS https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Chris-Bires-Chemistry-And-Physics-Activities

birescm@nv.ccsd.net, National Board Certified Teacher, AYA Science, Physics

First Upload: 6/19/19
Category: Physics & Astronomy
