Chemistry Ion Dice (Chemical, Ion Cubes)
thingiverse
I've used these nine ion dice (30mm cubes) for my "Ion Dice" game to teach inorganic nomenclature. The white-page activity is available for free on my Teachers Pay Teacher's page linked below. The first six dice are designed to learn basic binary compounds and the seven common polyatomic ions. Dice 7-9 are intended for upper-level or AP chemistry students. I've included Fusion360 files as well as two STLs for each die, compressed into a rar file for easy download. Feel free to resize or edit them to suit your needs, but please give me credit if you upload based on my work. I hope you enjoy using these dice. Keep in mind that they take about 2 hours each to print on my Ender 3, and a class set of 10 takes about 200 grams and 20 hours as 30mm cubes. I plan to add pictures when I use these in class in (2019) replacing wood blocks with sharpie.
