Chemical Corps Insignia

Chemical Corps Insignia

This is the insignia of the U.S. Army Chemical Corps. The symbology is two crossed retorts (chemistry distilling flasks) and a benzene ring. Actually, it would be cyclohexane as depicted, you have to imagine a few double bonds to make it benzene. The official colors for the insignia if you want to paint the final product are "golden yellow" for the retorts and "cobalt blue" for the benzene ring.I modeled the insignia off of the official Army graphic, so the proportions are correct. It prints flat so there is no need for support of any kind. This emblem can be painted and used as a free-standing object or attached to something else.
