I recently discovered Chemex brewers/filters and I'm hooked on the delicious coffee they produce. The 3-cup filters were a major pain to work with, always slipping out while I was busy doing other things in the kitchen. To solve this problem, I created a simple device that helps keep everything in place until I'm ready to brew my coffee. It's also super handy when you need to pour out the filter rinse water without worrying about your filter getting dislodged. With just a slight twist of the filter guide, everything stays put and makes pouring easy as can be. A friend of mine even uses it to keep his brewed coffee warm while he finishes off his first cup - perfect for those who prefer making one cup at a time like me! I've also noticed that the point of the filter sometimes doesn't open up properly, but this little gadget takes care of that issue too.
