Cheeseborough Clamps

These pipe clamps are ideal for scaffolding, trusses, and lighting rigs, as they come in pairs with a pivot feature that holds two pipes together. Individually, they can be used to fasten items like lights to a pipe. Sized specifically for 1/2" steel pipes and 1/4"-20 bolts, these clamps use a 1/4"-20 carriage bolt and wingnut to tighten around the pipe. They are also useful in creating temporary jigs and frames from pipes. However, note that the pivot is not a bearing and should not be spun around; it's just for adjusting position. Due to the variation in printing strength, these clamps should be considered light-duty and not as substitutes for steel clamps. They are not strong enough to support heavy equipment or people, so use them at your own risk. To assemble the clamps, insert a 1/4"-20 bolt through the hole in one clamp's end without obstructing the pipe area, add a matching nut from another clamp, adjust length with washers if necessary, and put them together. For usage, stick a 1/4"-20 carriage bolt into the square hole side of the clamp, place a wingnut on the other end, slide over a 1/2" steel pipe, and tighten the wingnut to secure.
