Cheese Slicer Sheath

Cheese Slicer Sheath

By using Thor Bjørklund's Norway-invented 1925 cheese slicer, you might store it with the cheese in the refrigerator. However, this could lead to a dirty slicer contaminating other fridge contents. To solve this issue, create a simple sheath that fits the elastic slicer easily and can be cleaned by dishwasher due to its open-ended design. Printing this sheath requires two shells/perimeters without filling; an Orca v0.30 with a .5mm nozzle and .3mm layer height was used for the photo example. If perimeters don't attach correctly, adjust wall thickness in the .blend file before exporting a new .stl. While tall, this build works well at 40mm/s perimeter speed. Adjust the model in the .blend file if your cheese slicer has significantly different dimensions.
