Cheese Crystal
thingiverse
This is version 2 of this puzzle, and it's a major upgrade over the first one. Check out the original here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_uMRyijAbg New features in this version include improved tolerances that prevent the pieces from getting too squishy. Printing Instructions: Place one face of the triangular shape flat on the bed and use snap-off support. The triangles will be covered with stickers, but don't worry – the mechanism won't be affected. Assembly Instructions: Drill 5 internal centers into the core using 3x20 wood screws, making sure to trim their tips so they're only 17 mm long. Cut about two-fifths of a curvy copter spring to fit it inside the piece. Now, use 5 edge pieces and 4 external center pieces to fit them between the internal centers. This will leave you with a hole where the "last piece" can be fitted – it's a modified external center with smaller lips that prevent too much pressure on the screws. Print Settings: Printer: Prusa I3 Supports: Yes Resolution: 100 micron Infill: 20%
