Cheerleader Wooden Toy
grabcad
In a YouTube video (https://youtu.be/OxMtzM8MS9E), a monkey is featured as a cheerleader; however, the inner workings of this animation are not explained. As such, personal mechanisms were created to illustrate the process. The second animation highlights these internal mechanisms within the monkey's body. The design was modeled using Solidworks 2015 and rendered with Simlab Composer 6 Mechanical Edition. Frames from the video were edited in Virtualdub and saved as AVI/X264 and BMP formats. The video was then remuxed to MP4 format using MyMP4BoxGui, while gifs were created with PhotoScape. IrfanView was used for rendering edits. Additionally, the 3D-PDF, ZIM, and SIMLAB files all contain animations. These files can be viewed on IOS and Android devices using the free Simlab Viewer app, with the ZIM file being a prime example. The model is also available in various formats including Solidworks 2015, Simlab Composer 6, DAE, STEP, IGES, STL, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, and ZIM.
