Cheeky Pumpkin
myminifactory
This is a cheeky pumpkin design created on Freecad for Halloween. It's a simple design consisting of three parts: body, bottom, and lid. The body alone is quite cute and could be printed on its own, but I wanted to insert some sort of lighting, so I opted for a more versatile design. The pumpkin body also comes with a version featuring a USB cut, allowing you to insert a little USB-powered board like Gemma to power LEDs. In one of the photos, Paul Smith's Hue Cube lights up the pumpkin via USB. About the Print The pumpkin body requires support material, but the body and lid don't. I used 20% infill. The pumpkin body was printed with PETG (Prusa Orange) because that was the only orange available at the time. The bottom and lid were printed using Prusament Galaxy Black. If I had a choice, I'd use brown, but that wasn't an option. The body took about 5 hours to print, while the lid and bottom combined took around 2 hours.
