I'm excited to share my latest update with you - CheekyMonkey_wBase_v2.stl is now available and stands alone without the old version. I've removed the outdated base model, so be sure to grab this new one. I had a blast sculpting facial expressions for this character, and cheeky defiance was an awesome choice to start with. The test print turned out well enough without support, but the forearms would probably benefit from some support to get them looking their best. If you're planning on printing this design, I highly recommend going with the version that includes a base unless your printer is extremely reliable. The hands don't have much of a foundation and lifted right off the raft during my first print. Both versions are available for download, so take your pick. Both models have around 900,000 triangles, so if you're concerned about poly count, let me know in the comments. I'd love to create lower-poly versions tailored to your specific printer's capabilities. It would be great to know if this makes a noticeable difference for most people's printers and computers.
