Checkers is a popular board game that requires strategic thinking and quick reflexes to win. The objective of the game is simple: capture all of your opponent's pieces or block them so they cannot move. Each player starts with 12 checkers on dark squares, while their opponent has 12 checkers on light squares. Players alternate turns, moving one checker at a time. A piece can only capture an opponent's piece by jumping over it to an empty square.
