Checkers
thingiverse
I required a set of magnetic checkers for an Ohio Art checkers tin that was lying empty. I had previously embedded magnets in a wooden Chess set, but I found it difficult to get them to work with the wooden checkers. It then dawned on me that designing hollow checkers and dropping a magnet into them during a paused print would be the easiest solution. I utilized 4.5 mm sphere magnets that were readily available and they proved strong enough. The checkers will stick securely to the tin and also stick together when crowning.
