Cheapest 5.8g VSWR Meter (for FPV antenna)
thingiverse
Hello! I present to you the most affordable 5.8g VSWR meter for measuring your FPV antennas. Although it's a far cry from an Anritsu/ Agilent VNA, it offers unmatched accuracy at its price point! A couple years ago, I built an analog vswr meter using an old school multi-meter. While that works great as a tool for tuning my DIY FPV antennas (on my YouTube channel), having to read the needle off a self-conjured swr scale (printed on paper) is not ideal for accuracy. That's why I created this device to achieve better accuracy, and you can see how it was built + demoed in the video above. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0CZb1XxvPY Parts Required: 1. 1-8000MHz AD8318 RF Logarithmic Detector (from banggood, analog, etc) 2.
