CheapBeep Maxi Mount
thingiverse
This is a Maxi mount for the Cheapbeep transmitter project. To secure a spring, slide it up through the bridge on the back, allowing it to glide smoothly over the ramp and lock firmly into place. For added stability, consider applying epoxy or inserting a small 2mm PC screw, as I did successfully. The Maxi mount proves extremely robust and integrates seamlessly with the project. Simply slide the spring through the designated grooves and allow the tab to pass through the bewit hole, effectively locking it in position. In recent updates, an additional hole has been incorporated into the bewit tab, providing an alternative means of securing the spring using a small screw. I implemented this modification after my hawk became entangled in honeysuckle and a critical component became lodged behind the transmitter. Fortunately, this adjustment resolved the issue with the screw.
