Cheap Temperature Gauge Mounts - Standing and Screw On
thingiverse
To monitor individual temperatures within my home brewing fermentation fridge, I designed two CAD mounts for cheap thermometers. The first version has a screw-on design that attaches to the side of the fridge with a 4mm metric screw, while the second standup version sits on a stand and allows the probe to pass through either the back or bottom. A slip of paper can slide above the gauge in the standup version for labeling purposes. These mounts are specifically designed for a cheap eBay thermometer from China with dimensions of 46x27mm, fitting snugly but removable if necessary. They were printed at 0.2mm on a Replicator 2 in PLA material. Drilling a hole using the same drill bit size as the mounting hole and screwing into place secured the mounts, with washers and nuts used for added stability in one design while not needed in the other.
