Cheap & simple sustain pedal

Cheap & simple sustain pedal

thingiverse

Relatively simple 3D printable sustain pedal for digital pianos or MIDI instruments. The non-printable parts that are needed are 2 6-32 (or M3) screws with nuts, 2-conductor wire (I just used speaker wire), and aluminum foil or tape for the contact. Highly recommend to print at least sustainpedaltop.stl in PETG. Another thing I recommend is two ring connectors as this will make attaching the wires to the screws a LOT easier, but they aren't necessary. As for which files to print, sustainpedalwithhole.stl is for if you want to run the wire out closer to the bottom. Print this one along with backcover.stl, or if you want to keep things simple and run the wire out higher, do backcoverwithhole and sustainpedal.stl. Both of these configurations will use the same sustainpedaltop part.
