Cheap PIR/DHT sensor stand
thingiverse
I have designed a versatile stand that cradles a low-cost PIR (HC-SR501) sensor and a DHT temperature/humidity sensor. This innovative design eliminates the need for a hanging solution, thus sparing my pristine walls from unsightly holes. There is ample space within the stand to accommodate your chosen electronics. I have employed a custom-designed PCB that houses an ESP WiFi chip, running the letscontrolit firmware. This setup enables seamless communication with my Home Assistant controller, which can perform complex tasks based on sensor readings. Feel free to substitute the ESP module with LORA modules or other devices tailored to your needs. A small hole in the back of the stand allows for easy access to power wires and other connections. To assemble this design, print the stand upright and the lid with the top surface facing upwards on your 3D printer plate. Happy printing! P.S.: If you successfully print this stand, please share a link to your project on Make.
