UNTESTED as of 3/2/17. Designed with TinkerCad precision. This is the cheapest glidecam clone conceived, built with simplicity and thriftiness in mind. Idea is to attach a weighted pole to the middle ring, with the camera securely fastened on top. Engineered specifically for a Gear 360. Used trimmed paperclip as axles - just long enough to pass through two rings, bent outwardly, and secured with tape. Envisioning it might be wiser to heat the bent part, melting it into the side of the ring. How I Conceived This Examined glidecam clones, focusing on the gimbal as the primary feature. Most designs rely on bearings (the best option). Also studied one-print gimbals - but the rings were not free-spinning enough. So, designed concentric rings, added a handle, and drilled perpendicular holes through them for a nail or paperclip bit to function as an axle. Trimmed paperclip was used in the video demo. Testing is imminent.
