Cheap FOCer V2 Case
thingiverse
This is a snap fit enclosure and other helpful files for the Cheap FOCer V2 VESC. Everything prints without any supports required. I recommend printing at least the spacer and washers with PETG/ABS to avoid deformation due to heat. The outside case in PLA should be fine, but I have not done any longevity testing. If you're brave or don't run high current or have a fan, PLA may be fine for all parts. If you're extremely courageous, you can try skipping the drilling and tapping of the heat sink altogether and just squish fit the mosfets to the heatsink with this case. I haven't tested this at all, but if you do run this setup, please post what plastic and how it holds up in the comments below. *WARNING* The template will start to wear out after 1 or 2 uses and lose its templacency. The 2mm lid is the one I use; the 2.5mm one just seemed a little too big. I added a 5.5mm spacer because I bought some 1.5mm thermal pads, and needed a non-standard spacer. You should NOT buy 1.5mm thermal pads, but if you do, make sure to use this spacer or your board will be way too warped! Cheap Focer v2: https://github.com/shamansystems/Cheap-FOCer-2
