I purchased a budget digital caliper from Amazon approximately six months ago, but the electronics unexpectedly malfunctioned after being used as an impromptu hammer. The electronic component of the caliper ceased functioning. To overcome this issue, I designed a conversion kit that attaches effortlessly and enables me to measure objects until a replacement is available. The measuring precision of this tool is realistically around 0.2 millimeters, yet it remains more precise and convenient than a standard ruler. The part utilizes the original self-tapping screws from the caliper. This component was printed on an Ender-3 with a 0.2-millimeter nozzle. A 0.4-millimeter nozzle should also be compatible, but the numbers may not be easily legible.
