Cheap and simple drilling guide: Drill Block

The Drill Block is a helper to ease the job of drilling holes perpendicular to the plane you're working on, or centered on a thin, long object. I based the model on a commercial product after i was discouraged to buying one due to the fact that they dont exist in metric units. I also attached the SolidWorks file in case anyone wants to improve it. It features 15 holes for common drillbit sizes, from 1 to 10 mm, and markings every 0.5 mm on the sides. The markings on the sides are for the center of the holes to ease alignment. Depending on your machine you might have to tune your Horizontal Expansion, or simply run through the holes with the drillbit and you're set to go.
