Cheap and multifunctional motion sensor
thingiverse
As an alternative to expensive IR barrier type systems, I used a cheap HC-SR501 sensor module in configuration with an HW-803 relay module and socket. The circuit diagram is similar to the one I used in the “Don't Slouch” table lamp. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6338972 5 V for powering the modules - from the telephone power supply. An aluminum foil screen with a hole in the center narrows the sensor's field of view. Monitoring a narrow zone extending over several meters allows the sensor to be used for:turning on/off the light-alarmscontrol the electric drive of room doors, cabinets, sterile boxes...-react to the movement of animals or ignore themThe sensor can be mounted on a flat surface or mounted on a tripod with a 10 mm diameter tube. For the clothespin, I used a twisted spring with a diameter of 30mm made of wire with a diameter of 2mm.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXg8GLGSifYhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEasu01_THk
