Chatton Park Hill rock art, Northumberland
sketchfab
This vast outcropping of rock encloses a sequence of intricate cup and ring markings, believed to originate from the Neolithic or Early Bronze Age period. A natural depression at the upper portion of the rock exhibits a prominent groove leading from it, characteristics which may have been artificially accentuated. Panoramic vistas stretch across the valley of the River Till and toward the Cheviot Hills. I've uploaded an alternative version of this model without photographic textures. Photogrammetry: Aaron Watson, June 2017
