Chatton 9b (Jan 2007)
sketchfab
Area of outcrop located on private farmland situated to the east of Chattonpark Hill, Northumberland. A carved exposure is found just a few hundred metres east of the main Chatton clusters. Stan Beckensall documented three cups with partial rings and two additional cup-like depressions. On the 3D model, it appears that the cups were carved centrally into raised areas, giving the impression of partial rings rather than them being carved. Recorded in the Beckensall Archive as 'Chatton 9b', it was added to ERA by NADRAP in 2008. An ERA record containing Beckensall Archive material is available at https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=107. The model was created from three stereo pairs captured by Joe Gibson in January 2007, as part of the NADRAP / ERA archive.
