Chatton 12 (March 2008)
sketchfab
Possible ancient carving discovered on a boulder in Chattonpark Hill, Northumberland.\nA massive stone lies nestled among a heap of boulders, its original location revealed when a triangulation pillar was erected roughly 40 meters to the west. The surface now facing upwards features several deep, broad grooves that appear to be naturally occurring, though some enhancement cannot be entirely ruled out. Two cup-like depressions are situated near the bottom.\nListed in the Beckensall Archive as 'Chatton 12,' it was added to ERA by NADRAP in 2008. \nThe ERA record containing BA material can be accessed at https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=109\nThis model was created from just three images captured by Joe Gibson in March 2008, part of the NADRAP / ERA archive.
