Chat Noir's Ring
myminifactory
Cosplay accessory inspired by the ring Adrien Agreste wears when he transforms into Chat Noir from Miraculous Ladybug. This model is designed for a ring size of 4 1/2 (15.3mm), but it can easily be scaled using your preferred slicer. In my tests, each additional 10% adds 0.25 mm, although this may vary slightly depending on your printer's specifications. If you don't have a Dual Extrusion capable printer, you can print the file ChatNoirRingDS -Body to create the ring with the paw symbol in bas-relief. Recommended supports ensure good quality, but they are not strictly necessary as the model will rest on the printer bed and some printers may be able to handle the overhang required for the ring's details. If you receive a warning stating that the part is too small and appears to be in inches, don't scale it to millimeter format; otherwise, the paw will become disproportionately large. You may need to clean the model after printing. This is normal when dealing with complex shapes and dual extrusion. You can use a metal file (like those found in Swiss army knives) or a scrap of sanding paper for cleaning. Notes: This model was successfully printed using Simplify3D's Dual Extrusion Wizard, where the paw and ring body aligned perfectly. My recommended settings for this program are as follows: In the Additions Tab, enable the Ooze Shield option with a 3.00mm offset, 1 Outline, Waterfall shape. These settings will ensure a clean print.
