Openscad file and images. This design was remixed from the design by user@spacebuck https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3082083. This is not the final CAD but only to get an idea. The next version will be more stable with more dependent variables instead of a bunch of constants. If I ever get a decent PC, then I will use some free software (for personal use) like Fusion360 to make a better version. Openscad is the only software currently which can run on my PC and isn't filled with bugs. -Cage diameter at the base (inner): 38mm -Base ring diameter (inner): 66mm -Cage length: around 80mm -Length of the head section of the cage: around 30mm -The gap between the base ring and the cage base along the direction of the locking mechanism: around 10mm -Anti-pullout ring inner diameter: around 24mm (variable due to a non-circular shape) The only problem in this is that the bars at the tip of the cage are thicker than the other bars and their thickness is non-uniform resulting in extra weight and material. I am a beginner and trying to learn how to create an elliptical torus of uniform thickness. The anti-pullout ring inside needs to be made up of something a little flexible but strong like Nylon-12. It should not be too loose or too tight. It should be a perfect fit. The separation parameter at the beginning of the code can be set to 0 or 1 to see either the assembly view or to view each part separate from each other.
