In recent days we've received contact from Dr. Renato Favero, a former head physician of Gardone Valtrompia Hospital, who reached out to Isinnova through a doctor at the Chiari Hospital, where we were producing emergency valves using 3D printing technology. Dr. Favero shared with us an idea for addressing the emerging shortage of hospital C-PAP masks used in sub-intensive therapy due to the spread of Covid-19: designing an emergency ventilator mask by modifying a snorkeling mask already widely available on the market.
