Charles and NiXie's Hamster House on the Moon

thingiverse

This modular hamster house system, designed by Charles for his pet Weenie, features rearrangeable capsules that can be attached end-to-end or stacked. The model showcases two capsules connected via a bend tube, providing a maze-like environment for your dwarf hamster (not suitable for larger Syrian hamsters). Each capsule is secured by a twist ring and closed rings at the ends of the bands. Note that this design, particularly its clear parts, may require professional 3D printing services due to their complexity. For two stacked capsules as shown, print four hamster_house_band.stl, two hamster_closed_twist_cap.stl, two hamster_twist_ring.stl, and two hamster_press_fit_cap.stl in white. Print the clear, polished capsule_holes_left.stl (2 pieces), capsule_holes_right.stl (2 pieces), hamster_bend_tube_left.stl (1 piece), hamster_bend_tube_right.stl (1 piece), and ladder_tube.stl (1 piece). Assemble the capsules by placing each inside two bands, aligning the large holes. Use the ladder tube to mate the two capsule assemblies and provide a climbing aid for your hamster. Place closed end caps on one end and twist rings on the other; plug the large hole at the bottom of the lower capsule with a press-fit cap. For the water bottle, print hamster_water_bottle.stl and hamster_water_bottle_top.stl files, which may need splitting and gluing for proper function.
