For the winches, I used two Viadana in 27mm, but it's perfectly possible to use Harken or Ronstan, both in 27mm. To ensure that the two pieces stay securely in place (even on the road), I added a small strap between them that passes through the pulley. Then, a short strap on each side. This gives the GV a much better shape at close range.
