Charging Cable Organizer
thingiverse
I see many broken cables, mostly near the USB Type-A plug, and it's frustrating because people are winding their charging cables directly onto adapters, which causes those points to break frequently. At home, I've taught everyone to wind a smooth bend, but they still make that same mistake sometimes. That's why I came up with this solution: 1. Unplug the cable from the adapter. 2. Wind the cable around three or four fingers. 3. Squeeze the round cable in the middle. 4. Slide it into "the oval". 5. Plug the adapter back in its place. I created two versions - one with and one without a hook - but most original cables will stay in the oval even without the hook, which was originally designed to prevent drops. Give it a try and let me know if there's room for improvement. If your plug is too big to fit into its spot, try upscaling by 1% on your slicer app, adjusting the x and y axes should do the trick. I even snipped off two little pieces from the bottom front of the design, which will prevent support at those two columns when you choose "support touching build plate only" in Cura slicer.
