I was thrilled to discover that the 2016 MacBook Pro's charging cable still featured two sturdy clasps that held the cable in place when not in use. However, I wanted more control over my setup, so I designed a custom alternative. This build has two primary functions: (1) Securely bundle the small USB-C wire when it's not in use, keeping everything tidy and organized. (2) Elevate the main charging unit off the ground, especially on carpeted surfaces, to ensure better heat dissipation during charging. After several iterations, I fine-tuned the design to make it snap onto the charger without cracking when printed with PLA.
