Theo Lopes' Gift from Santa Cruz, 1938. The iron originated in the late 1800s and early 1900s with Mr. Lopes' mother. To operate this iron, you pull out the pin at its rear, remove its top, and insert hot coals into its body (then replace the top and pin).
