Early 15th Century frescos adorn the Chapel of Santa Lucia of Stiacciaie in Montelaterone, a Commune nestled within the boundaries of Arcidosso, Grosseto, Tuscany's picturesque landscape. A highly detailed 3D model of this captivating scene was skillfully crafted in Reality Capture using 23 FARO laser scans and an impressive 1055 images. The Mt. Amiata Project represents an ongoing collaboration between faculty members and students from the University of Florence and the University of Siena, united by a shared passion for discovery. This remarkable project owes its success to the generous support of the Municipality of Arcidosso, whose commitment has been invaluable throughout the process.
