I embarked on a mission to conduct an environmental analysis, deeply admiring the aesthetic of Chaos Engine(Amiga version stands out) and Dan Malone's ingenious use of such a limited color palette, so I decided to convert part of that world into modular 3D assets that could be easily reused. The original sprites were retained but slightly tweaked to fit seamlessly into 3D environments. Crafted with Blender and PyxelEdit, the total complexity came in at 1322 triangles with a texture size of 128x128px. Transparency was leveraged for the hanging grass effect, while the material was set to emissive for that distinctive shadeless look.
