The model was created in collaboration with my daughter, and from there the hands grew as a foundation for the Menorah. Chanukah is a holiday that celebrates unity among all people of Israel, so it's only fitting that the chosen base is the Star of David. In the upper decoration, an olive leaf is selected as a symbol of peace that thrives when we focus on light rather than darkness. To create the candle holder, I made a cement mold to contain the flame. Additional items needed include: * Four M5x30mm screws to attach the hands to the base * Cement or clay for casting the candle holder mold
