Channel lock demo
thingiverse
This simple design showcases interlocking pieces, featuring an inner channel that fits within the outer channel freely. The model incorporates one horizontal and one hexagonal nut trap. These traps are compatible with #6 (US) machine screws and nuts; M4 fitting may be slightly loose. Assemble your ABS print using a rubber mallet on the inner channel, which requires support structures when printing. File lightly at connections for smooth sliding while maintaining tightness. Note that cleaning out the horizontal nut trap necessitates an xacto knife post-printing. The final assembly uses a #6-32 pan-head machine screw with two nuts, while M4 may work but hexagonal nut trap fit will be less snug.
