Chandra's gauntlet (made for medium-sized male hand)

Design: This design is based off the Chandra Funko figures and Chandra's style sheet. The design consists of a 33.5cm (13 inch) two-part gauntlet made from six pieces, plus a push-light. Important Note: The front part of this design is sized to fit a medium-sized male hand. If you have smaller hands than the standard medium size, this design may be too large for you. I will be posting a different version designed for smaller hands in the near future. Print Settings: Printer Brand: FlashForge Printer Model: FlashForge Creator Pro Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.15mm Infill: 18% Notes: I used ABS plastic, and while it can be a bit of a challenge to work with due to warping issues, a little epoxy putty can go a long way in fixing these problems. Post-Printing: First, print all the parts (it took me about 24 hours for all six pieces at 0.15mm layers). There are holes along the axis that you can use small metal dowels (available on Amazon) to attach the parts together. Alternatively, you can use epoxy or hot glue to secure them in place, although this method may not be as stable if you plan to drop the gauntlet. I printed mine in ABS at 18% infill, which gave me walls that were about 4mm thick and created a sturdy armor shell. After printing, glue and/or putty the joints smooth and secure. Next, join the two parts of the pipes together into the bottom piece, then attach both pieces to the center piece using hot glue and patience. To add some extra security features, I left some mounting holes in the design that you can use to screw in straps made from polypropylene webbing (1 inch), velcro, and D-rings. Finally, stick on the push-light (available on Amazon) onto the front part of the gauntlet. The best part is that you can even replace the batteries! Enjoy your new gauntlet!
