Champion Red's Bracer (Sun and Moon)

After fan-fiction started gaining momentum about Red and Blue from Alola, I thought it would be exciting to bring the infamous trainer's look to life through cosplay. Alongside his signature hat, yellow backpack, and shirt, Red boasts a black bracer that adds an edgy touch. I designed this bracer to stretch when my hand slips into it, creating a unique effect that sets it apart from other accessories. The expansion mechanism relies on elastic, but you can substitute it with any flexible band if you prefer the bracer to remain rigid. Red's bracer measures approximately 3 inches in diameter by 1.5 inches tall. If you want larger segments, scaling up is a reliable option. To build the bracer, I printed eight identical segments and strung them together with .75 inch elastic. At the end of the process, overlap the two ends of elastic, sew them securely, and trim any excess. Finally, tuck the remaining elastic into one of the many loops to complete the band.
