Champagne cork - Champagnekork

A nearly two-century-old champagne cork from the esteemed French champagne house Veuve Cliquot is currently on display. The cork comes from one of the many champagne bottles salvaged in 2010 from a galleass that sank sometime during the 1830s in the Ålands archipelago off Finland's coast. Among those salvaged bottles was some still-drinkable champagne, which holds the record for being the oldest champagne in the world.
