The design features an easy-to-use mechanism whereby sliding up and down causes the two components to tighten due to their inclined groove configuration. Once assembled, these parts cannot be separated because of the unique groove geometry. To prevent issues with polymeric material shrinkage during assembly, the number of grooves is minimized. The device also includes seat track interfaces on both sides for added functionality.
