Full Assembled Model of French Revolver MAS-1873 and 11mm Bullet. The model is ideal for weapon mechanic animation, games, and visual education. The Service Revolver Model 1873 Chamelot-Delvigne was the first double-action revolver used by the French Army. Produced by Manufacture d'armes de Saint-Etienne from 1873 to 1887 in approximately 337,000 units, it was eventually replaced by the Modele 1892 Revolver. Despite being outdated, it remained widely used during World War I and was issued to reserve units in 1940. The French Resistance made extensive use of this model during the Occupation. The Model 1874, produced in 35,000 copies, was an officer's version featuring a lighter structure and darker finish. Many civilian versions were manufactured in France and Belgium for sale. Both the 1873 and 1874 models utilize an 11mm cartridge that demonstrated insufficient velocity. However, the weapons themselves proved to be extremely reliable and resistant to damage. A Navy version of this revolver was also produced, equipped with a more powerful cartridge. Unfortunately, production ceased once stocks ran out, and they reverted back to standard ammunition when necessary.
