ChameleonTi Immortal T antenna mount with battery wire holes
thingiverse
My Ti is equipped with a holybro Kakute F7 that has battery wires emerging from its backside. Initially, these wires were routed upwards through the top plate, but adding a camera to the front necessitated a change in plan. Drilling holes into my existing immortal T antenna mount proved to be a successful solution and I have since incorporated this design tweak so future prints will have the wires coming out at the correct spot. Over the weekend, I encountered a tree branch that caused one of the props to chew up my immortal T. This incident prompted me to switch to a different mount by ralenekov which positions the antenna further away from the props and provides better protection against damage: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2880923 On December 3rd, I began contemplating ways to prevent similar issues in the future. Perhaps beefing up the stalk would have been enough to withstand a collision - it did break in two, after all. In response, I created a v2 version with a reinforced stalk.
