Chameleon XT60 Arm Brace

Chameleon XT60 Arm Brace

This is a two-piece "brace" for the BF3 FC and the Armattan Chameleon.\r\n\r\nI'm not too keen on running the lipo lead up through the GP mount, nor did I care for it just hanging off the side of the frame. Since the BF3 FC is a PDB, I couldn't easily use Armattan's provided XT60 saver so I came up with this design with some help.\r\n\r\nI've printed it in PLA+ and TPU. While PLA+ worked initially, 5-6 hard crashes later it broke apart a bit. The TPU version is still going strong without any ill effects.\r\n\r\nThe tabs are there to "lock" the part together, but I found if one makes the lipo lead cables just the right size then the wire will keep the part together perfectly. Otherwise, drop a bit of glue or CA on the tabs and press fit.\r\n\r\nNote: Due to the frame size, the vertical room below the plate is minimal. You'll note the top perimeter is very thin. I may do a second revision that lowers the entrance for the Lipo when not using a 4in1 ESC in the stack.\r\n\r\nPlease let us know if you have success with this part or have any ideas to improve it!\r\n\r\nEnjoy!
